What Is photosynthesis?
Photosynthesis is a chemical process in which all plants, algae, and bacteria all must go through in order to survive.
Why Is It Important?
Without photosynthesis, we would not be able to live due to lack of oxygen and lack of food.
What does it do?
Photosynthesis converts 6 molecules of carbon dioxide (CO2), and six molecules of water (H2O) to one molecule of glucose (C6H12O6), and six molecules of oxygen (O2). This is also known as the photosynthetic equation
(6CO2+6H2O--->C6H12O6+6O2).
(6CO2+6H2O--->C6H12O6+6O2).
